Oldish games that are still good

For RPG's Morrowind is timeless, still plays well, graphics not that dated and god its scope is brilliant.

In terms of action, Mafia is a brilliant game, a storyline as good as the Godfather (no other game has made me emotional with its ending) and still plays pretty good.

Can't pass up some good Age of Empires and Counter Strike, both great plays with mates.

Command & Conquer, compulsory boooo EA.

Thinking of getting Starcraft 2? The original's cheaper and exactly the same.

Planescape: Torment is the best game I have ever played, and the combat was a chore!

Metal Gear Solid, Majesty, SWAT 2, Vampire: The Masquerade Bloodlines or something like that (with unofficial fan patch, the game was rushed), Legend of Dragoon on the playstation, Final Fantasy 8, lots of others that I forget. Pax Imperia.

PS original Dungeon Keeper was better than 2, and actually looked better too. And crashed less (slightly).

Oh how could I forget Big Rigs if you like a good laugh. YOU ARE WINNER.

My favourite old game would have to be Heroes of Might and magic 2. I prefare it over the other ones, they started putting to much in them in the later games.

This was a great game once you got the hang of it. Was especially good after a bit of a smoke

Nothing beats Mario Kart, but Pod Racer was not far behind I thought, and a clear second for racers on N64.
