Geelong remind me of the Midnight Oil song. The rich get richer The poor get the picture , Just another particular deal. Read about it

Looking like Cats have been feigning disinterest. My guess:

They offered a r2 pick
We suggested r1 and possibly more

Now that they have pick 7, they'll likely end up giving us 18.

s**t s**t.
Stuff them
Send him to the draft.
Do a deal with north
Closer to home

Could get interesting if we knock back their offer for Pick 18 (because it won't be pick 18 by the time the bids come in). I know we'd lose Henry for free to the national draft for free but the speculation is too much fun.
I doubt we knock back a top ~20 pick to be honest. Especially if we're getting somewhat shafted in the Grundy deal.

Does he have a girlfriend/boyfriend/non-binary partner that we can offer a job to in Melbourne, if not could we find him one, any takers???

Maybe he'd like a horse?

Would that be a mare, a stallion, a filly, a colt or a gelding.

Well if its me stallion.

If he goes to Geelong ive got some ponies lined up as special presents though.

Poulter lacks afl relevant weapons. Slow, not a good kick and very outside.

He has slow acceleration not top end pace, once up and moving he has ok pace.

He is a good kick actually 55m low and flat, chooses the odd wrong option and I reckon has the jelly legs up sometimes when on long runs from deep in defence.

His relevant weapons is he finds it finds space well and breaks the lines, is a big winger.

Imo just needs time and development both in gym and his game, is a longer term prospect but imo has potential.

Much more so then Browns or Biancos who got an eternity.

Henry is contracted for one more year to CFC. He played his cards and things don't seem to be working out. I suspect other players were prioritised. We are under no obligation to do anything; he is contracted.
Why is everyone saying he can go into the national draft. I am not sure he can. A contracted player cant dictate where he plays.

Either the Pies are happy for Geelongs kind offering or he stays. Thats it.

He is not a disgruntled player nor has he had a falling out.

We need the depth and he is a contracted Collingwood player.

There will never be a pick 7 for him

I expect he stays.
