He didn't have contested beast numbers this year.
Averaged 10. The beasts are getting 15 plus.
In a year he had several injuries.
Not sure why I even have to point that out.

Wasn't 15 plus the year before or the year before that.In a year he had several injuries.

So the contested beasts of the comp?Lol.
Only 5 guys averaged that this year. 6 the year before and only 3 the year before.
Of those handful of players (7) to average 15 contested possessions in the last 3 seasons only Cripps and Oliver are Ollie’s age or younger
So the contested beasts of the comp?
Daniher to Swans for pick 4
Pick 4 for Wines?
That will be pick 5 after the inevitable gcs compo pick.
I’m not keen on swapping wines for basically the same pick we drafted him for after developing him and he’s contracted.
If you got more for Daniher then maybe something could work
Pick 4+Sydneys 2020 first (if the Swans do that) then on trade both picks for Wines.
Carl Wines Sgray
Port Luko
GC pick 8 and carltons next years 1st
If Milton goes to Sydney you will have currency.
The guts of a trade could be :
Carlton pick 7~8(Adelaide) to Sydney for Papley.
Pick 7~8 to Essendon for Milton.
Pick 7~8 to Port for Wines.
There would obviously need to be add on’s, but there is a starting point to work from.
Who is the Milton you keep referring to? Is it J Danniher? Because yeah he would definitely bring trade currency to Bombers if Dodoro is involved in trading him to Swans. Would probably net 2 first rounders despite recent injury issues.
Then Bombers could easily chase Wines.
Of course you'd be taking on his salary. You don't think port will give up their captain for cheap and still pay a portion of his salary ?Carlton pick 8 & 2020 2nd rounder for Wines? And take on all his salary.
Laverde is worth nothingWhat is Wines worth anyway? I mean Laverde isn't bad but he hasn't strung together enough games to prove it to anyone yet. Laverde + which pick?
I expect Laverde would stay in Victoria anyway, but assuming he fit some sort of need for you guys, he'd be the packet of chips.
Why would suns want more draft picks?
didn't know that but still, people think heaps of players are worth two firsts, they aren't. even contracted players don't mean as much nowHe still has 3 years of his contract to run.
Laverde is worth nothing
Just visiting... Swans are sniffing around Wines
Funny how everyone now thinks that these B rate A graders or A minuses if you will, are now worth 2 top picks at every trade. People comparing deals to ones like Weller & Gibbs ect even now after we see how many players just are not worth these kinds of picks.
Don't forget for each grade there is also a 'spin', which is to say whether the player's spontaneous gradation change factor is waxing or waning.Ah the old B grade A grader, slightly better than the C grade A grader, and noticeably better than the A grade B grader. Quality drops off when we talk about the B grade B grader.
Not sure why everyone thinks they deserve a first rounder for pretty much every player ,- Wines has been a very good player but is coming off 2 crappy years so not sure why the price is so high.
