Dead set grandpa Drewey should put down the microphone and suit up in the number 10. Just camp out at the 3 point line and throw it up, he would still be miles better than any of the current squad.

Whats happened to Australians that could shoot the ball? Peter Crawford???

I rate Gaze as a commentator. Not classical or flashy, but gets the job done. Can't fake that genuine excitement over the Spanish coach's etch-a-sketch.

Spain far too clinical in the 3rd. Get LJ out there.

he is a10th man that comes on in garbage time. pour player & on coach browns nba team. i cant beleive how pour the european based players are going, ingliss only decent one. wortho showing a bit of grunt but to short at this level. even gaze has given up on mills.

Needed Bogut not only in the low post against the Gasol brothers tonight, but someone to hit up down low for some easy points. We need a dominant big man in the low post like i need to take a shit right now.
 
Yeah we got absolutely mauled in that third quarter. Spain have a front court jugernaught. On that basis a 12 point deficit isn't so bad but the shooting is seriously bad. Get Crawford in there.

Mills has stunk it up a bit in internationals of late. I remember him having a really bad world champs. His Beijing Olympics was obviously stunning.

I think you're letting us off a bit our shooting has been woeful. Brown needed to really address this issue going into the games. I don't think he has and the omission of Crawford who is the only one close to 40% career wise (I think) is glaring. We need an outside threat.

Our gameplan is awful. They're shooting threes like the Orlando Magic. The thing is that none of the Boomers are really great shooters. Maybe Crawford but that's all. It's either a three or a drive. Terrible. They need to start shooting some mid range jumpers. Having Bogut out is a huge loss as we no longer have an inside presence. We're not going to win much by relying on threes.

I agree. Mills has completely abandoned his mid range jumper which is a strength.

Cant see them getting anywhere.

The wildcats team and coach would do a better job than these guys are doing and they have half the "talent".
Why because they play great defense, but also play freely on offense.
Not afraid to take shots, not afraid to drive then dish out, better ball movement etc etc.

Also doesnt look good for the Womens team.
I cant see them going a step further and finally getting gold this olympics, I think its more likely they wont even get a medal.

True point guard, Good on D and the only guy clicking offensively wise. He would look much better if guys were hitting shots.

Mills for me is the only guy taking the game on, Without him we're just looking for an open 3 which isnt happening at all.

As pointed out defense has been great, However Fernandez and two Gasols are going to trouble the US,

A Fit Bogut or a Jawai who would put down the fork once in a whole would of made a huge difference
