15 dollars for the month and another 15 for a 'connection fee'. Done over the internet automatically and instantly. And it costs 15 dollars in labor. Right.

And yeah, SBS are doing all 4 of the 3rd group matches since there are 2 games on at once (ie one on SBS, one on Setanta), but then nothing till the final. Disgraceful in my humble opinion, but there you go.

At least i get a bit of Hurling as well. Crazy game lol :(
 
Hurling is pretty awesome when you are sinking beers. I remember a pub crawl last year which had a quick stop off at the Rosemont and they had a live hurling game on Setanta, thought some lads were Hawthorn supporters but they were Galway fans or something so got on that bandwagon for the night.
I did briefly consider getting Setanta for the Euros but I really wouldn't watch too many games as they are on at crappy times even though I do start work late these days.

Is there a lock in aka you get Setanta you have to keep it for six months or can you just order it for one month then bugger it off quick smart?

And Setanta is GO in the Bosley household! Sure was instant, I am very impressed. A lot more instant than this frustrating internet connection.

Now I can rest easy knowing I will be getting **** all sleep for the next week and a bit :)

Tried disconnecting yet? Took me about half an hour of convincing them i didn't want anything else from them :(

Really? I thought I would just stop getting the channel after the month is up.

What do they do? Ring and harass you?

I can't believe there has been so much Asian Cup cricket crap on. I was hoping for a lot more soccer. Wrong time of year I guess now Euro is over.

im pretty sure if you don't ring up and cancel it, it will roll over in to another month and cost another 15 bucks. :/ unless you subscribed in a different way to me? Unfortunately seems to be no way to cancel over the net :/

When I subscribed on the Setanta website there was an option of 12 months or 1 month. I chose the 1 month option. I assumed I would just stop getting the channel after that month expires.

If I am still getting it the day after it should have finished I will call them.

U were right! There must have been a clause in the terms & conditions that nobody reads to say that it rolls over unless you ring to cancel prior to the end of the month.

Well I was just on hold for 15 minutes and got cut off ... so guess I have to call again ... not happy!

Olympics not much less than 53 days away, I am more exciting about the pending battle for animation domination which begins on Fox8 08/08/08 :)
