These new "sports" keeps people not looking at all the other issues the IOC has to worry about

Just set a maximum to the number of events an individual athlete can compete in. Yes, Michael Phelps was a great swimmer but it was boring seeing him win all the time.

Yeah and you can't get a medal for running backwards.
