Murphy had a tough day for any player but especially a kid. Sent off. Kicked 1 goal 6 behinds and missed the one after the siren. He will be feeling crap but he’s only a kid and will be a gun.
Did he warrant getting sent off and did Albury make the most of having the extra man?

Its not that they are bleeding,, they just dont have the player list quality/ depth this season ... and we have many people commenting they are bleeding ,, your kidding ,, give it a break they have been up there for years and have the right to drop off a bit but watch out ,, do not poke the bear come season 2025

Hillary, Tiziani, King, Grills (anyone know what the go is?) all didn’t play today, & L.Conlan will return from injury via Albury, so maybe they’ll still make a run to September.

But I think they’ll need to be at absolute full strength to do any damage.

They have at least one former player returning before clearances close as well

Their twos are going okay, depths not an issue, Muller, Gartlett miles not having the same impact, kelly as a recruit hasn't set the world alight like they expected. They'd still be in the upper crest of spending in the league

Was he worth the chase, history suggests yes, but you can’t force a relationship., the Pies live to fight another day. Myrtleford hungrier, eventually outclassed. Myrtleford are a much better outfit than Almonds men. Skimming the Draw, Round 8 Owen has the chance to jeopardise Almonds coaching tenure. I’d be giving Fevs phone a tinkle for a one off.
