Analysis On The Whiteboard

Inspired by Chris Fagan and turning his club from a side that was going nowhere in 2017 - into a consecutive prelim finalist and B2B premiership winning team, North currently finds itself up against some horribly one-sided ledgers.

If we want to achieve a level of success not seen since the 90's, then we also need to start addressing some of the anomalies in results we have against the 17 other clubs. I believe this playing group can achieve that.


This thread is our own boards checklist. Our virtual whiteboard. It will highlight both club and venue as well as special rounds (Good Friday, Gather Round, Finals). It will be ranked chronologically and the aim is to break each streak at the next opportunity, be it in the current seasons fixture, in finals or next year.

It makes for some tough reading and we have already broken a few this year against Port and against * and of course Good Friday.

That and Essendon’s streak is one of the poorer ones.

Crows are a bit like Freo. Often have several pretty watchable players, many they find through weird little back channels like Cat B, DFA, rookie etc.

And both clubs love compiling a big H&A season that pulls in a few neutrals before collapsing in a heap to give some s**tstain team we all detest a free ride through finals.

Weather looks like it will have passed early Saturday morning. I think that suits us, we can move the ball better than them this year

The media talked us up so much today and I fell for the trap of believing that we were a shot.

The sad thing is the Adelaide Oval loss streak is 14 instead of 13 as I forgot we got belted by Melbourne there during Covid.

Adelaide loss streak extends to 9.
The last month of footy has been horrible.

Signs of improvement but not where it matters.
