Do we really need to trade for a ruckman?

Here's what we have:
Mckee
Fraser
Cloke
Richards
Crow (on the rookie list)
Rocca and Walker can also ruck

I'm going with no.

Hope Crow gets promoted, he's got the goods.

If he doesn't though, he's gone off the list as you can only have a rookie on the rookie list for 2 seasons.

Well it comes down to wwhether we want to win a premiership. We can stay in the four for the next couple of years and have no dramatic influence, but if we snare a key ruckman then we definatly give the flag another shake.

Nic, I understand where you are coming from but Josh is the only one on your list you could really have any confidence in.
Josh is really a CHF who can ruck and I agree at present he is doing a good job.
But we really need a top class ruck who rucks because it his prime job - not a fill in role.
There are a couple around Lade and Cox to name a couple.
Of the others on your list are either not up to it or will not be ready for senior footy for a while.
In short my answer is Yes.
