Abbey Road Medley from Mean Mr Mustard to The End. 5 incomplete songs from Abbey Road melded together. I dont know how many times I have been impressed by the flow of it. It features some of Georges cleanest and best guitar work which is never flashy, always understated, proof he was one of the greats. Paul's vocals here cover an amazing range, from a sweet ballad style to a gravelly roar in a matter of seconds and back again. Ringo's one and only drum solo during The End featuring a guitar solo from each guitarist Lennon's lyrical wit.

Mean Mr Mustard - Polytheme Pam - She Came In Through The Bathroom Window - Golden Slumbers - Carry That Weight (shortly returning to You Never Give Me You Money) then back again - The End.

Here Majesty cheekily tacked on doesnt add imho.

You Never Give Me Your Money is the greatest Beatles track ever IMHO. Closely followed by Day Tripper, I am the Walrus and Here Comes the Sun.
You Never Give Me Your Money is a great song but as with several of Pauls in the late Beatles period it had a few different parts to it. For me if George Harrison was not playing the guitar on this track It would be nowhere as good as it was. Abbey Road was Paul at his best, the only other times hes been as creative and on top of his game was RAM, BAND ON THE RUN and his lastest album out last week and that is saying something. George had so many memorable guitar moments the best being on other artists songs such as the ones from Lennons Imagine album, stinging guitar solos even Lennon said it was the best he ever played, the other one was on the late 80's Belinda Carlisle hit song "Leave a light on for me"

If George was less humble than he was he could claim that he constructed the song as much as Ringo wrote it and sang it.

The Medley is a fine moment in rock music

No way he was a terrific drummer. His playing had such a great vibe and it always complemented the songs perfectly.

Had great sensibility, feel and subtlety, stayed out of the way and let the songs breathe.

Fit the band like a glove, and that is all you ever want.

yes his drumming got better, the most famous drummer not making him the best but id have him in my band. more improtantly he had great humour and we would not have the titles "a hard days night" or "tommorrow never knows" without him

Yeah totally. Bucket loads of guys technically better.

But he had real personality to his drumming, you can spot him a mile away. I love drummers like that.

That sort of music ain’t about playing tricky stuff; it’s all about finding the right vibe.

Paul McCartney always ends his concerts with a blistering rendition of "the end" with he and his two guitarists Brian Ray and Rusty Anderson trading guitar solos, they come up with different variations of the solos nearly every time, its a great musically with Abe doing Ringos drum solo all 300 pounds of him bashing the skins.

He does Sgt Peppers reprise then The End takes it out.
