That was looking shaky - my 2nd duck in a row - but both were in the one dayers, and I always thought one-dayers weren't my bag, baby. :D

But full credit to Squizza - again! And also to LSS, for 4 wickets, these performances along with Crazy_big_al saw us over the line.

SSHHHHHHHHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Inspirational stuff guys! LSS YOU GUN! After all your work in the nets and putting it in every week it FINALLY PAYS OFF!!!

SQUIZ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OK, maybe you're not over-rated. Nah but seriously, great knock mate, you single-handedly ensured that we were still in the running there.

CBA!!!! Unbelievable mate. Best All-Rounder in the comp by a COUNTRY MILE! I thought you and I were a lethal duo in the Tests, but today's knock just proved how valuable you are in both forms.

Great stuff you three, won the game for us with your brilliant individual efforts. :thumbsu:

A batters deck?????

Wow, that was my best game of the season realy starting to pull everything together with my bowling and nice to hit the winning runs to get us over the line, great game Victoria. Starting to hit our straps boys, not the greatest batting performance but the bowling was terrific.

Squizza, CBA and Phil:eek: were terrific with the bat, a few out of form though in the One dayers, great win though

Great stuff LSS, I asked you to rip through the top order and you did!

Boncer, although you didnt get a bag of wickets your bowling was outstanding and you should be very pleased with your performance.

Spelly? Whats going on mate? Unlucky mate, might need to rest you for a week or two, never fear mate, you will be back better than ever. Arma will get his chance.

Phil, well done mate, you asked and you delievered, a solid 45 odd runs was very valuable on a pitch like that.

Squizza and CBA, what can I say, outstanding performance, we were looking very shaky but you guys recovered and guided us home. Very happy to win a crucial away game.

Great stuff guys!

I was thinking myself - that's gotta be the lowest scoring batters deck I've ever seen.

It actually equals Allies vs. Darkness Eternals' Round 3 match - 437 runs apiece, but in terms of runs to wickets it easily beats Qld. vs Geelong Gumbies' match - that match was 29.27 rpw, this match was 25.71 rpw.

Also this match was the first on an excellent pitch where the run rate was under 5 - 4.93.

I was thinking about a rest from the one-dayers, but I'm still going strong in the Tests!

We are :D:D:D:Ding unbelievable!

Spelly's just been unlucky I reckon. Has been keen to get another century but has unfortunately gotten out to ripper's early in his innings.

LSS has finally shown the comp. just how good a spinner he is.

Squiz and CBA, you said it yourself mate. They saved us from the brink! CBA has been the quiet achiever this year for the team. It's now that he is finally emerging as the 'Andrew Flintoff' of the competition. Squiz is turning out to be the 'Michael Hussey' man of all purposes for the Sharks.

I think we're finally getting the right balance guys. Boncer adds that extra quality bowler to compliment Dyer, LSS and CBA and Squiz has slotted in amazing well down the order.

On a personal note. I'm moderately happy with my knock, but I want to go on and make big scores from here.

Blue skies ahead for the Sharks! :thumbsu:

Exactly, the skies are very blue, boncer was splendid and really compliments our pace bowling unit which looks pretty strong at the minute. Since the trade break I have been criticised about being the lesser of johnny so right now it is great to be shutting up my critics.

CBA is the most underated players in the comp, and Squizza is close to that, posts well and makes runs, what more can you ask really. Phil, you are a gun, that's all I can say.

Spell, you'll be back in the test side in your opening spot so I look forward to you killing them again, you'll find the one day form again no worries mate. Great win overall, but the best thing about this was we didn't rely on our 'superstars' Ray and BRG, the latter is having a bit of a rough patch, but as they say class never leaves.

woah, wasnt that supposed to be a batters pitch, hate to see what would have happened on a bowlers pitch.
disapointing to lose a tight one but well done to the sharks, so lets just get ready for the test since we will have such a long rest

That was, IMO, part of the magic about this game. We didn't rely on the "Fab 5" this time. BRG, Spelly, Ray, Dyer and Demon have been fantastic for us on so many occasions and i'll be frank here, have carried the teams on certain occasions with their performances.

In this game it was fantastic to see players not usually in the spotlight like LSS, CBA, boncer and ofcourse, Squiz, step up and make themselves noticed.

I prefer it when I star... ;) :D

Only kidding, I think it is great that we are getting the entire side performing, could be very handy come finals time.

Who do we have in the next Test match? KCC.
I believe so, at our home turf. I think a bowlers deck will suffice nicely, a batters would be interesting though but I think that would give them the automatic upperhand.

What you reckon about the votes.

Mine are
3- LSS
2- Squizza
1- CBA

Fantastic win Sharks!! Phil's move up the order was a stroke of genius. Just glad that we don't have to rely on the same faces every week to get a win.

Just to reiterate what I said in the last game:
Squizza > Beagle Charlie, thank got we got rid of him :D

I've been in a purple patch of late, let's hope this good form can continue. Hopefully I can get my first votes this game
