The reigning champions are at home again this week after disposing of the flying Crocs last week they prepare to meet another top 6 challenger at the GABBA as the Gumbies who are sitting in 6th head north to try and knock off the 2nd top team. The Canetoads have had a solid start to their title defence losing just the 1 match but appear to be in full swing now in their attempt at 3 One Day championships in a row whilst the Gumbies have had an up and down season so far which sees them with 2 wins from 4 games and just hanging on to their top 6 spot by NRR. Its an important game for the Gumbies in which they can measure their side against the toughest assignment and then be glad its over for the season

Pitch due by 18:00 Wednesday, Teams 18:00 Thursday

A really good chance to entrench ourselves in the top 6 and show we are a force to be reckoned with this season. Queensland are a great team, but if we want to improve this season we need to win these sort of games.

You ruin enough match threads without leaving your own, we had enough of you last week now nick off.
:thumbsu: Oh well, bad luck!

Queenslander will be too strong at home for The Gumbies! The players who take interest in other matches want to see a Canetoads win!

Oh it would be great to come up against you Cozzie, come on Gumbies, played some very good cricket so far, and need to show what we're capable of here.

Big game this boys, reigning premiers.

More importantly though, after consecutive games against the morons at Team 13 and Warriors, great to get a game against a civilised bunch.

Carn Gumbies. Started the season of well even though we have been very unlucky in the last few tests.

Keep up the good work, should be an easy win really.

Good point. The last two, in particular the Warriors game, have been a farce. I don't mind the banter, but that game was ridiculously over the top.
