Enough Said.
Anyway had a good laugh, had a good day.
Thanks Birmingham for giving me a laugh when I really needed 1.
There only 1 team in Birmingham and rest assured they don't wear blue.
Up the Villa.

Carling Cup is an irrelevance for us this season so I am not upset about being knocked out. A little disappointed, but it sounded like one of those nights where nothing would go right for us (missed penalty, couldn't hit a barn door from 5 yards, they took an early lead & stuck 10 behind the ball, etc) I'm glad that our shocker came in this game rather than in the league. I think it could actually be a good thing and fire the boys up for Pompey this weekend. It's only our second year back in the top flight so concentrating on getting 40 points for survival is still our first goal for this season. The cup competitions are a distraction that we really don't need IMO. The Vile can play for the Carling Cup for all we care, we'll settle for survival and the derby double.:p

:D

Still, losing to Blackpool must be embarassing. Granted they may be a Div 1 side and Wycombe are Div 2 but you should have dealt with them easily.
The Derby Double?
You won't be playing West Brom twice this season.
Up the Villa!

Blues 2-0 Pompey

It's all about the league! 26 points to go to secure survival, however the current league table does look very good to my mind:

1 Arsenal 7 9 17
2 Chelsea 6 10 16
3 Man Utd 7 10 16
4 Birmingham 6 6 14
5 Southampton 7 4 12
6 Man City 6 6 11
7 Liverpool 6 5 11
8 Portsmouth 7 2 9
9 Blackburn 6 2 8
10 Fulham 5 2 8
11 Aston Villa 7 -4 7
12 Middlesbrough 7 -6 7
13 Bolton 7 -6 7
14 Charlton 6 -2 5
15 Leicester City 7 -3 5
16 Everton 6 -3 5
17 Leeds United 6 -6 5
18 Tottenham 6 -7 4
19 Newcastle 6 -3 3
20 Wolves 7 -16 2

If beating the likes of Wycombe is what does it for you lot then we'll leave ya's to it, we'll just concentrate on the league ta very much (and we need to with Chelsea, Man Utd and the FILTH up next)

Exactly who have you played so far.
We've played Chelsea, Liverpool and Arsenal in our 7 games thus far.
So we'll see how good you guys really are next week when you are taken apart at Old Trafford. You can close that gap to 4 points as we are playing Bolton at home. And if everything goes right when we travel to that ****hole St. Andrews when we win we will overtake the Brum on the league table and put you's back where you belong as the 2nd best team in the Midlands.
Very encouraging signs last night, JPA won't let that happen again.
:D
Dion as a centre back OMG scary!!! His pace is frightening.

You can only beat the opposition that is there, some of them like Leeds, Newcastle & Tottenham were fancied by the 'experts' to beat us as well. I wouldn't be so sure that we will get smashed by Man Utd or Chelsea, we're a better side this season and we weren't disgraced against either of those 2 in the corresponding fixtures last season. We will give them both a good game I'm sure. As for you lot beating us at St. Andrews - take your hand off it mate, you'll get blisters!!!:D

I'm keeping my good hand free in case we win.
