Here's a suggestion for your club

You are annoyed that you can't play AFL in Black and white ?

Had to add Teal and are not happy ?

Why not change the 'third' colour each year ? REd next year, Green the year after, Orang e the year after that. You could even link it to sponsors.
There may be colour clashes but you could have an 'alternate'

That way you'd be telling the AFL and collingwood your colours are Black and White.

I think the club is not uncomfortable with the teal thing. They are trying to establish an identity which is forward looking rather than focussing on the achievements in the SANFL (unlike us at bigfooty !!!).

There is another colour (silver) which is part of the official club colours but not used in the jumpers (strange)...so look out for that once they run out of cash.

Good idea though...would be similar to soccer where they change jumpers every year and all the fans go out and buy another one.

Personally I don't mind the jumper...I like the back...it is the same as the old Port jumper back....its the first thing I noticed when they ran out on the ground at the MCG in 1997...that the back of the jumper is the same.

I am trying to think of something Hawthorn could do with their jumper to reciprocate....

Not a bad idea. Personally I think the patterns could do to be simpified. As for the so-called "prison bars" strictly speaking, in heraldic terms, the label signfying a Dynasty, I think must be reintroduced at some time. The colour itself which might accompany this could be a number from Port's history, although I guess I'd omit the pink that they wore briefly back in the 1800's.

IF we wanted to play in black and white (and most supporters would) then keeping B&W and adding a different colour would make some sense.
