was just having a read through here and agreed with this point. eagleton is usually a very consistent player always contributing but seemed to be off his game tonite.
good effort in the last quarter, i thought griffen and murphy really stepped up, along with harbrow and lake who played well all game.

If your team is so good, why didn't you play more than one quarter then? perhaps your team isn't good enough to play well enough than for more than 20 minutes.
You know what we heard tonight? The dreams of every Bulldogs supporter breaking, that team of average front runners wont be going anywhere this year.
Really, Pies fans - sure, the Dogs fans are being a bit precious here - but can you allow at least a few hours of grieving before you come to our board to gloat?
Having said that, we shouldn't take anything away from Collingwood. They ran out of legs, but they played incredibly well for that first three quarters. Their pressure and running was superb. And in particular, their kicking for goal was something i hope the Dogs have a good hard look at.
Bad kicking = bad footy.
If we take that kicking into the finals, we're screwed.

Couldn't have said it better. If it is a tight game all night and you happen to go down by a point then i really don't mind it and would enjoy the contest but to let them get out by 40 pts and lose by 1 if friggin pathetic... If I see people around here tonight complementing our boys ill spew up... I wouldnt be so pissed of if i didnt think that we were a good side, we've all seen how good we can be when we turn it on but unlike the great sides, unlike the premiership sides we don't do it.
I mean why were we so flat in the first half?? did our training run last weekend take it out of us pffft... theres simply no excuses letting a team get out by that much... NO excuses.
