Almost had a heart attack in that final quarter. I understand you guys are really annoyed at losing for one point, but you came back from being 40 points down at 3 quarter time. Give yourselves some credit.

If Collingwood want to be proper contenders we need to be consistent over all 4 quarters, and while tonights performance was a great team effort for three quarters, we nearly screwed ourselves in the last.

But a great performance from both teams. It would have to be my favourite match this season. We both deserve to be in the top 4.

I am a trembling mass of rubbery nerves but so glad we got up.

A lesser club would have dropped their bundle but not the Dogs...Deserved 3rd even if we did just hang on.

So im extremly annoyed about the one point loss. One quarter of footy is not enough. We were pretty woeful and to Collingwoods credit they were great. May i also mention, quite surprised at Collingwood supporters at the game and on here. Ok u get the occasional shocker (but thats with every club). hey were quite good

Brian Lake is just bloody amazing. Have decided the number to go on my back. Absolute Gun. Lets move on to Essendon and give the real scum a good old belting.

Collingwood and the Bulldogs will certainly be thereabouts come september, as will Adelaide creating IMO a classic september. Cant wait for Round 22

A bit of perspective here everyone. I for one thought we were in for a smashing, and I was relieved when the dogs fought their way back into the game even though they lost.

However, a loss is not always a bad thing. Since we lost to Geelong we have been playing very good football, and seem hungry for the contest. Compare that to last year, when we managed to beat Hawthorn convincingly in Launceston. When we played them inthe finals we were complacent and lazy, and got smashed.

Remember the last time the pies beat us was in 2006, when Murphy did his leg. We ended up playing a semi final against them with everyone including their supporters expecting us to get beaten and we totally anihilated them. Some good will come out of this loss!

Reading the first few pages of this thread, I was fairly appalled by your attacks on Collingwood supporters coming in and not really being all that attacking, guys. Way too much uncalled for aggression.

But then I realised you just lost by a point and memories of Anzac Day returned.

Collingwood got smashed in the clearances, the Dogs had many more inside 50 entries amd more possessions and we still won. Our two key forwards kicked zero goals and we still won. I think the Doggies are deluding themselves with the "we played crap and still could have won " line. With the huge clearance advantage I would be concerned that you could not kick a winning score. Great game.

Nobody is obviously in the frame of mind to even discuss anything without a tantrum (bar one or two).

Best to leave it, you're right.

While I can undertand you have an interest in what Bulldog supporters are saying, why would you post on our board if not to be self important.

You will find Doggie supporters posting congrats to the Magpies on the Pies board, but here we are looking to dissect where WE went wrong.

The one point margin leaves everything as inconclusive and change one incident would change the result.

Perhaps you are better just to have a browse and save your comments for your own board.
