Getting closer to the big Round 1 clash, Saturday night at the MCG.

Have been hearing plenty of ads on radio and TV for the game, does anyone know the plans for Troy Broadbridge's memorial?

No idea yet Brad. Probably a video package on the big screen, minutes silence, releasing of the balloons etc.

Plus a few pots in his memory.

Bloody oath. I haven't been to a Bummers game yet where we haven't had a nice slanging match with a few of their supporters, so this one should be no exception. Working on getting Benny to the game as well...

Off topic, Ammos beat Sth. Barwon from the GFL in a practice game today, and did it quite easily too. Kicked 10 unanswered goals, and further proves they should be already in the GFL and not the BFL!

Yeah I remember that!

I did go to the game actually, Ben played on a HBF (which annoys me as he's a wingman through and through) but did alright, got approx 15 touches. They kicked 10 unanswered goals in the 2nd and 3rd qtrs and looked very impressive, Lindsay Smith dominated in the ruck.

Can't wait for this one. Should be one of the better games of the year and will be a very moving night. Got a bet with a few don supporters riding on this one and should be a great game (Providing we win).
