Having heard Hohns on SEN thus arvo I’d be staggered if Pucovski doesn’t play.

George is a legend and, from all reports, a ripping bloke.I've struggled to question any selections since George Bailey has become a selector. All hail King George!
Love the Pucovski selection, they haven’t rushed it and he’s just knocked the door down. Reminds me a lot of the Phil Hughes days (RIP) and I just expect him to have an immediate impact.
We’ve finally got some consistent batting talent coming through to compliment our list of quality fast bowlers.

I’m sorry but when I see Marcus Harris and Shaun Marsh scoring big runs and players like Abbott and Neser being talked about as all rounders (good bowlers but genuinely no. 8s at best) then I can’t help but think that runs are propped up by playing on a bunch of roads to to start the season.
Shaun and Harris have been pretty consistent scorers in FC for a while regardless of conditions.
And have failed on multiple occasions at test level...
Lets just be popping the champagne that there's no Marsh's in the squad! It's a relief!
A handy 36 and 2/45 in the A match and Mitchy will come roaring back in to contention for the Sydney test when they decide to give Swepson a crack.Lets just be popping the champagne that there's no Marsh's in the squad! It's a relief!
Would’ve enjoyed the melts tbh.
As long as they didn’t make the final XI though.

Harris is 28 - with 9 years of cricket ahead of him - premature to think he couldn't yet make it.
I wouldn't have him in the frame at the moment.
Marsh is 37 and his time has come.
If Warner retired in the next couple of years, Harris would be a decent replacement as an aggresive opener.
Thankfully Warner isn't retiring then
so Warner gets a say in who he opens with now?! that's the coach/selectors job.
He's 34 and a prized T20 player, I wouldn't be surprised if he retired after the next home Ashes

He'll give up ODI's and International T20's imo
