He's done well since joining Victoria mate but you have to admit there are still big questions over his game. Reckon he's perceived as somebody who throws his wicket away all too often and they're put off by it. Do I agree? To an extent. I've been impressed by his improvement at the big V and would be interested in seeing how he'd go a second time around. But do I understand why he may not get the chance? Sure.

Yeah I tend to agree with this. I’d be interested to see how he went with another crack at it and happy to see it happen, but I don’t see him as being hard done by for not getting put in just yet.
He blew his chance in the A game so much they’d prefer the bloke averaging 5 as the incumbent over another fresh face who failed against India’s B team

When watching him in the A game he looked really loose. He'd probably still score more runs than Burns and maybe even Harris but he's no longer the sure bet I thought he might be earlier in teh summer.

Marsh and Khawaja opening partnership would be significantly better than all the hacks in the A game.
I imagine someone will still be called in to cover for Green, and it should be Usman, might be Marsh, and whoever it is should end up opening.

Don't shoot me down but is there any grounds to bring Carey in? Would be strange having 3 keepers playing but see Carey more part of our future test team than S.Marsh, Burns and Usie.

It's a worry though. Performance wise, he's probably the most out of form batsman in Australia right now. Brad Davis scored more runs in 3 matches for the Redbacks and got dropped.

Failure after failure this summer Langer has backed Burns in. His name should have been crossed off weeks ago and chances given to others in these A games

He should not play for his own welfare......he will achieve nothing if he plays.... he needs to start again and find form
If he plays we are playing with only 10 men huge advantage to India
Use Wade to open if Green is fit....who cares if Wade has no experience opening anyone atm is better than Burns....far out I would be more confident with Hazelwood or Lyon opening rather than Burns
If Green is ruled out bring in Marsh he is the form batter in the shield has experience in pink ball tests and plays the Adelaide oval well...who cares about his age or the future.....he will go out when Warner and Will are ready
With all this disruption going on atm reckon we might struggle come Thursday to win the test
