Up here we normally have one intra club game and 2 inter team practice games. Oh I hope they do the same in a couple of weeks.

yeah in about a couple of weeks all the practice matches and intra-club games begin, but i can't wait for the real stuff to begin as us geelong fans are extremely confident heading into 2001, well i am anyway.

Yeah 3 months till the magpies win 1 or 2 games on the trot and for their fans to declare to the world that they will make the grand final.

However, reality begins to sink in a couple of rounds later when Collingwood start their run of 14 losses in a row.

I am not even counting down till the season starts, even that sounds too far away at the moment.

Now on my calender at the moment is marked the following:

Jan 8 - training recommences
Jan 23 - from this day on practice matches are allowed to be played. Oh how I am waiting to find out what practice matches we will have up here this year!

Woohoo!!! The 'beginnings' of the beginning of Footy season is starting!!

Tho it is hard to realise that is has already been nearly 4 months since the GF!

Damn near fainted when i saw that one AussieRoo!! Quickly, only if endless summers of the torture that the Windies tour has turned into is your idea of fun.

Its been a wasteland, miles and miles (kilometeres and kilometeres for the younger crowd) of nothing but miles and miles of nothing! Roll on the next six weeks send the kids back to school, hibernate for the summer.
