I would have thought, North would have rather had Black than Sinclair. Maybe Pagan thinks he can get something out of him.

I thought Black was a lot faster than Sinclair. As far as I saw it Sinclair is a lot like Shannon Grant and Black is like Harvey.

I would prefer Black to Sinclair..Black has some class..Sinclair doesnt like it tough and wouldnt know what a hard ball get was..just another pretty boy

Why does Pagan seem to like getting nut cases that he thinks he can mould. eg Pike etc. Has he got some kind of Fatherly Instinct to the strays or is it merely an ego trip.
Black was on the table, but we would have gotten draft picks 6 and 22, rather than 6 and 8 with Sinclair. On 2000 form, Black is way ahead of Sinclair, but when Sinclair started his career, he looked the goods. I remember one game in 1998 when we belted Freo by something like 100 odd points, Sinclair was the only Freo player that looked any good. Anyway, I'm not too worried as Pagan has a good record on getting the best out of players.
In other news, we've picked up Ricky Olarenshaw and Matthew Capuano has gone to St. Kilda. Not too sure what we've had to give up/get back as yet.

I just read that Olarenshaw went to North with pick 39 and pick 37 went to Collingwood.

Sinclair is tougher than Black, he's pretty gutsy (decided he wanted to clean up Whoosha in his first Derby, had a few goes, but didn't really succeed), but has had injury problems this year. Collarbone(s) I think. Not a bad pick up, but not really worth Bell. I'm surprised Jess agreed to leave the surf over here actually
And he'll need a chaperone for the festivals and stuff he likes (BDO etc), or you'll have another Winnie on your hands!

Why would the Roos want to pick up Oleranshaw with his history of back and leg troubles?
Did they think that the draft was that bad or do they think he will come good.
I think the Bell deal is a win/win situation for both clubs. You get the chance to get some top youngsters and Sinclair has certainly got the ability, if Pagan can get it out and doesn't go down to Bells too much.
What do you guys think of the Capuano deal?
