jeff white and that could free up fraser forward and
then white can go forward
also get rid of mckee

Sounds good in theory...but White, even though he is a great ruckman, is too injury prone to risk the $$$ and a decent player swap for. And he's not the best of kicks and he really doesn't do much scoreboard damage. Although he is great at the bounces, I'd still prefer a ruck who is more adept around the ground and one who can go forward and kick goals. We would have been better suited to Everitt, minus the attitude

I'd be more inclined to go for someone like Brogan.

i'd rather not, i think we'd be better off to go after someone like Brogan from Port or Cox from Eagles to play more of a backup role for Fraser and also let him go forward more. They would also come a hell of alot cheaper then White

Fraser has started to come good and just lacks strength so we just need someone to help him out that can crash and bash abit

Well i do agree but our saviour in the ruck department shouldn't come from the high-priced White. As i have been ranting for the last 8 weeks " I want Jamie Charman".Brissie have 3 good ruckmen and we have a decent boundary rukman(Mckee) and an up and coming superstar ruckman in Fraser who will need wsome assistance in the future,thus allowing Rocca to stay forward.

I think he will be a great player for the pies, 3 years at Williamstown should be enough to make his debut. McKee would be a fair trade as an experienced player.

We don't need a freaking ruckman, next year C. Cloke or Richards or another young player will step up as the back up ruckman to Fraser who is killing them in the ruck. Sure he's not winning the tapouts, he is improving rapidly with the experience, and by next year should be more than competitable in the tapouts. I think if you had a look at the effective hitouts vs. Fraser you will be surprised.

So Fraser should be pushed forward you say with our new ruckman?
What happens to Tom Davidson? Can we play a 4 pronged attack with Davidson, Rocca, Tarrant, Fraser? If the new ruckman takes over Fraser will never learn anything and never become competitive in the hitouts.
If Fraser had this form as a ruckman last year in the Grand Final we would of won it. Some of you guys need to get over it, as hard as it is, and have a look at Frasers game against the premiership challengers and their ruckman, he has beaten them all.

how many times do we have to be smashed in the ruck for everyone to wake up.

josh has been fantastic this year and he is finally showing his worth as a number one draft pick. but hey he cant ruck day in day out right through the season. mckee is a dud, c.cloke and guy richards will be good but they need a smash and grab ruckman. jeff white is two injury prone and melbourne will want too much for him. my number one choice would be jamie charman. until we sought out the ruck division we are not serious contenders for the flag.

Despite the fact we don't do wel in the tap outs were still number 2 in the AFL for clearences so there's no need to sell the farm for a ruckman. However if one came along at the right price then take him. I say go for Charman.

I agree White is to injury prone i think Tristan Walker done a very good job last night in the ruck and around the ground. He has got a very good leap and is not scared to hit the other ruckman hard.
