Legend.

16 goals against Fitzroy was AWESOME. (he was off the ground for 10 mins too)

Point against Ess in 96 got us to a GF

Kicked 6 in a losing GF

Pig on the ground. Funniest moment ever.

He was awesome to watch.

Don't argues
Headlocks
Elbows (Poor Peter Caven)
Ragdolling backmen
Birds to the crowd
Throwing a crutch at Fat Eddie (wish he would do that now but with something else)

Cometh the moment Cometh the LEGEND.

Take a bow Plugger.

Lol saints fans sooking on facebook posts because every plugger photo is in a swans jumper
Because all his big moments were in a Swans jumper. 16 goals against the lions, the point after the siren to sink Essendon in the prelim.

His saints highlights included kicking the ball into a bunch of elderly people behind the goals, watching a pig run around on the SCG and smashing Caven's face in.

Saints fans can get upset all they like but facts are he is as much a Swan as he is a Saint.

Kicked 100 goals 3 times with each club and while St Kilda got him for his Brownlow Year and that 1991 Season where he was unstoppable, we got him for his 1000th goal, the goals record and the most important point in our history which saw us and him into a Grand Final and that bag of 16 which was brute force Plugger at his best.

His record at both clubs left a suitable mark and while we got him for all his highlights that he is remembered for that doesn't wipe out what he did at St Kilda.

A legend at St Kilda, a Hall of Fame member at the Swans and now a Legend of the Australian Football Hall of Fame

Didn't he kick a hard fast low ball from the goal square aimed straight at the heads of Kenny's group?

I remember in the bad bad times of the early 90s thinking how good it would be if we had players like Lockett and Roos playing for us - do you reckon I was excited when they actually did. Just like Buddy dropping into our laps!

Plugger, deserved Legend.

At the saints he was a thug, then he slowly turned into a big fat beautiful swan.

Apart from those highlights with us, he was a clean player at the swans, hence why people remember him more in a swans jumper.

When i see him play for the saints i think i am watching a regional game, especially when they played at moorabin.

It was so good too see him at the BF last year and he spoke like a true swan.

Well don big man.

Saw his speech on the night, thanked the Swans for drafting him when he was at the crossroads career wise. I want to thank him for dragging the crowds back to the Scg, and securing a future for our at that time struggling club attendance wise.

Plugger never liked the spotlight in Melbourne and I think it showed in performance during his time with us. I believe he still lives in NSW and will consider himself a Swan for life. Unfortunately he had 4 daughters and we won't be getting any F/S's from him.
Gender re-assignment surgery can do amazing things these days. Finding the donor is usually the hard part.

Plugger and Kells were made for each other. When Kelly kicked him the ball for his set shot 1300th goal half of us were already streaming over the fence.
