but I raise a question, did the Channel 7 Football producers do the Australian of The Year Adam Goodes a disservice by highlighting one of his appeals for a free when he launched himself superman style...

I think the Goodes attempt at free stoked a few fires much like the Murdoch press do. As such, the context changed completely. So, you will ask, what about Judd's chicken wing? Did they stoke this by repeating it and highlighting it, and with Youtube, can you point the finger at a person in the producer box selection which footage to replay?

I think it is the role of the producer to show footage in context, and if people get too indignant re: one aboriginal player, who happens to be Australian of the Year, then... perhaps they should not have shown the footage again. Because the footage was allowed to be warped in its context but some elements of the population. Cos lets face it, everyone dives, sry, everyone plays for frees., so why did everyone come down on the Australian of The Year.

And Mark Howie Howe, when he was a boundary rider for Channel 7 about a decade ago, when the Czech supermodel Karlonina K (Karolina Kurkova) was doing some promotion, she was at a footy game, prolly Collingwood, doing promo shots with a jumper on, coulda been something from Emirates (it coulda been Carmen Kass the Estonian supermodel)... Howie when it was not official interview, the commentary box had footage of him getting far too close to the model and doing some too close close-talking, like Hamish McLachlan type close-talking of the opposite sex, the other person's space...) soo, just saying, hypocrisy here from the host Mark Howard...

I like how feminism 4.0 has sought to put Gayle in the docks without any context... Gayle has no idea what he has done wrong. But p'raps, looking at the situation, what he did was not outrageous, and his conception of his own innocence is perfectly understandable. That those who wish to put him up against a wall and give him a hundred lashes, are ignorant of Gayle's situation. Am I ignorant of Melanie McLaughlin's situation? yes, partly I am (ignorant this is). I remember last year when Fitzy and Wippa were flirting with her, she shut them down. I also know her role is also to play as the cute host. Who was the Channel 7 female football comentator who has gone on to ABC, Kelly someone? Channel 9 sacked her, or Channel 7, she got no support from the producers and bean counters. She was not the "cute host"type tho. There are definitely two standards, I am not suggesting otherwise...

I think to say he does it "to humiliate" is a bit unfair. I don't think that is his intent. He simply believes that he is an untouchable god in cricket, because that's the way the media keep portraying him.

Looks are clearly part of the requirement for female on air news/sports/weather presenters, certainly in commercial tv.

As I said before, how many ugly/unattractive/fat female presenters are there?

It's an industry wide thing.

That's not trying to denigrate the presenters themselves, it's more a comment on the hiring practices of the industry.

Well, this is her "public perception management" potentially, to come across as the good one, forgiving the transgressor. Well, she may have forgiven him. And Dutton may well be the d!ck, however she leaked the text, or went to the media immediately after the text (since she is a media person)... she knew the ramifications for Turnbull and the Libs, and Turnbull managing the right faction in the party, that there would be calls for Dutton to go, so dont doubt this has hurt, p'raps temporarily, Dutton and Turnbull both. So she can now "forgive" Dutton? Well, she could have forgiven him without anyone else knowing, that woulda been a more authentic forgiveness v this mealy mouthed public perception forgiveness.
