Do you think the immediate 'oh here come the do gooders', 'get a sense of humour', 'this country is getting ridiculous' leaps to defend this might have made 'small scale' impossible?

Addressing her because of her sexual attractiveness as a potential date and calling her 'baby' in a suggestive manner comes pretty close.

The "workplace" I this context, has been used to exaggerate the issue.

I believe this IS the issue and I am hoping people concentrating on this one incident don't allow this to be lost. It is certainly the issue for the female journalists that have stood up to be heard today. They believe they are just as good as their male counterparts, that they earned their careers and that propositioning them while doing their job pays no respect to their role or professionalism, instead reducing them to their sexual attraction.

Who are we to argue they should not feel that way?

Wrong. It's clearly not on the far end of the scale, and many people have said that whilst it not a major incident it is indicative of every present attitudinal issues in not only the workplace, but society in general.

Yes, with no fanfare.

Just disappointed. Has felt respected in her career to date so doesn't want to be in that situation again. Good that people are talking about it.
