Call me sceptical, but isn't playing an out of form, injured Yze a subtle form of tanking? How can such an out of form player like Yze deserve to limp to the 300 in a game that if we beat Port we had some chance to get off the bottom? To add insult, we even gave him a jab to get on the field. No doubt, Bailey will say we went "flat out "...........yeah right. Our club & coach saw that game against Port as only peripheral. In my humble view, players need to work to get to that 300 , not gifted it . A farce...as has been our wasted year.

Who do you support?

Who do I support?...I support The Dees..have done so for 40 years . Have even signed up for next years membership already. Why...because, like you I love the club. But..... the fact is that sometimes the truth hurts and we need to be harsher in our view of where our club is heading. We need to get angry. Just look at a Tiger or a Magpie supporter after a loss. Us?....we just lay down and roll over mate. Enough is enough. Spread the word and we may just turn this thing around.

So what is your point? Are you saying that Yze was good enough to work for 298 games but 300 games is just gifting it to him?

You sir are a ____head!

List your club as Melbourne if you support them, otherwise people will think you're a troll, especially with all the negative s*** you've been spewing on a couple of threads.

Anyway, Yze deserves his life membership, he's been a fantastic player for us over the last 10+ years and to say that the fact we're playing him is tanking is stupid, he's earnt his spot in the team and probably should have been in the team earlier as he has been quite solid and consistent in the VFL the whole way through this year.

To play him for the last 2 games is fair enough considering he's been such a good player and servant for the club and that we're sacking him, why not help him to his life membership?

Adem Yze would be the first to admit that there were many games within the 298 that were also gifted to him in pursuit of that nonsensical consecutive games record. My comments re the 300 are valid and still stand.

So how many of his games did he not deserve to play in your opinion? Remembering that he was the one to tell Daniher that he did not want to play, which is what ended his run at the record, so that he would not have to deal with all the naysayers and negative s*** spewers like you.

He deserves to play this week, he has earnt it through his form in the VFL this year and it's a nice parting gift, I want to see him in his last game for the demons.

I bet you probably think that both he and White, and even Holland probably don't deserve send off games this week.

By the way, my comments about you being a troll still stand.

Add to that you have just signed up to BF today and all the posts you have done are slagging off Melbourne, got any positives at all?

Stop being a knob.
List your team and show some respect to a legend of our club.

I don't think a true Melbourne supporter would talk about a legend like Yze like you have been.

The season is over for us and the kids have been given ample time to show if they are going to make it at AFL level and will be again next year. So I think it is only fair that a great servant of our club gets his chance at AFL live membership whan there are only 2 matches left in the season.

I think you may be a Collingwood supporter who remembers the Ozz single handedly beating you guys on several occassions.....Oh the memories!!!

Exactly, he started out as 16 year old kid and has worked dam hard to play as many games as he has.

Are you serious? If our selection was based on form he would have been back in the team weeks ago anyway; for a couple of months Yze was absolutely killing it at VFL level. He's a club great, all Australian/international rep and a freak at times..... Great to watch!
Cheers Yze you da man.

He deserves to play these last two farewell matches as a result of all his hard work and excellence since 1995.

Hardly going to affect our season by playing him anyway.
