Might just be because I am a Saints fan but I really enjoyed Steven Baker's open mike. Really interesting character, was controversial when he revealed some of his tagging tactics etc.

Enjoyed his

The best ones are the guys happy to talk about anything and honestly

He just didnt give a toss and was engaging

Neil Kerley is my fav by a mile. Mainly because I didn't know much about him. Very entertaining.

And they're the most interesting ones. I found the Matthew Scarlett and Bomber ones quite boring because I knew it all. It's the ones of lesser known playrs from before your time with a story to tell that are interesting. Not premiership heroes who have told the story 1456 times at pub nights.

What did Tim McGrath mean when he said Paul Chapman was 'not himself all day'; and 'at the time we probably didn't know why' in reference to the day of the Bali bombings and why the Geelong players stayed in the hotel and didn't go out? I can't believe Mike didn't follow up on that?

Who hasn't been on but needs to be? Must be running out of great interviews.

Gary Ablett Snr.
Tony Lockett
Allen Jakovich
Robbie Muir
Mark Jackson
Darren Wheildon
Jeff Farmer
Richard Osbourne
Paul Medhurst
John Northey
Darryl White
Fred Cook
Rick Davies
Mick McGuane
Grenville Dietrich

My favourite one so far is still Doug Hawkins.

Just out of interest, why Medhurst?

I heard from some people who were also at Claremont at the time he was say he was a strange, but nice enough guy.

Mercurial player - he and Brett Ebert really flew the flag for the 'tall forward trapped in a short mans body' type there for a while. Was always hope for both of them that they could transition to the midfield and use their impressive physiques to advantage, but aside from a few notable moments it remained a bit of a pipe dream.

Another one who would probably be a really good watch would be Andrew Krakouer.

Also remember an Inside Footy feature on Aussie Jones which I really enjoyed. Left the game very prematurely (as far as performances were concerned). Since then gone on to coach a fledgling club at VFL level.

Just seems like an interesting, different character as far as footy players go. Not your typical "meathead":

Could get some further insight on his career, why he chose to retire from the AFL at age 28, etc., with a more fleshed-out, straight-forward interview.

Yeah ahhhhh that might be a bit hard.

Might be a little difficult to have Maurice Rioli considering he's dead.
Allen Jakovich would be an entertaining one for sure, and from a Richmond perspective, John Northey, still believe sacking him was a generational mistake.

That's a pretty decent list. I'd add Brendan Fevola, I reckon he'd be pretty interesting given that he has been out of the AFL system for a few years now and has had time to reflect on things.

I'd also like to see a few more interviews with administration types, blokes like Ross Oakley, Wayne Jackson etc.

From a current players point of view, I'd love to hear what that lying campaigner Griffen would say. Even though I now hate him something must of really changed in his last six months at the club. Would be interesting.

Stevie J would be the other one from current players I'd be very keen on.

Not a magpie supporter but I think Denis Banks would be an interesting interview

I know that Johnson has been injured for a long time, but I don't think Mike should be interviewing current players, simply because they are going to be restricted in what they can say. And there are enough former players/coaches/administrators out there that you don't need to be interviewing current players.

I'll probably watch it anyway, I just disagree with the concept.

Unfortunately, there is a good chance that Johnson is already a former player

Who is Alex Johnson? (Genuine question)

Sydney defender who at one stage was coming along nicely (last game 2012 GF) before a series of ACL injuries/infections to the ACL reconstructions set his career back a few years.

Wears No. 34.
