Enjoyed the Mew interview more than the Bannister interview because they discussed footy accompolishments.

Modra could be a fascinating interview because he was truly a rock star figure at that time. Actually would enjoy some interviews with guys who played in the 70's and 80's because they were much bigger figures than the stars of today.

This suggestion is a total left field one.
If she's still around and kicking, I wouldn't mind seeing an Open Mike with Irene Chatfield, the lady who became the central figure in stopping / rallying against the Footscray / Fitzroy merger in 1989.

I met both Capper and Mark Jackson at sportsmans night. Capper was fantastic with everyone and even seemed a little shy.

Jackson was a deadset flog

Very few variations on that one. I dont think Mike even wants to interview him as I doubt Jacko would be reluctant to take the publicity his type of livelyhood needs.

Would be banging on the door of Mike for a shot and given he would be of interest seems to leave one alternative as to why we havent seen him.

I've said it in this thread before, but Jackson was on SEN's "Jesaulenko You Beauty" segment a few years ago and it was some of the most extraordinary radio you'll ever hear. Jackson just ranted on and talked about what he wanted to talk about, completely defying all normal interview protocol. The hosts, Daniel Harford and Des Dowling, could barely get a word in and were clearly uncomfortable.

So the main interest for me would be whether Sheahan could "tame" Jackson sufficiently to conduct something resembling a conventional interview. Personally, I doubt it.

Jacko would walk all over him

Vanders is a boring interview subject - Give him a miss.

Brownless - had many times will he mention frothies ?
I hope Mike goes relatively hard on Brownless. He was an extraordinary talented player who unfortunately epitomised the Geelong side of the late-1980s to mid-1990s. Somehow he has done incredibly well in the footy media and as such people probably forget both his exceptional football talent and his unfulfilled career.

Can't believe he didn't even get a ticket to the 98 GF because of lack of tickets! WTF AFL?

Didn't realise Brisbane offered him huge money in 1995, fairly sure they tried that with a few of our players (Macca was definitely another).
