We don't have any open sessions planned right now but we will definitely before the school holidays.

Currently the sessions aren't open to the public.

Thanks I spoke to the club this afternoon and they mentioned the website will be updated soonish and that there may be a session on Thursday...then again they could have been telling porkies....

Training is one of the few times you may get a couple of words with the players, its a great time to get some autographs and photos and its pretty relaxed, You also get a lot closer to the players than you usually would. I only enjoy it as it brings a huge smile to my sons face and he seems to get a kick out of it....

for me the interest in going is to see how the players are tracking as there's bugger all info elsewhere

Like to go once a year in January just to check out the new players and see if some of the players have got bigger. Something to do as well

I love going to training especially during pre season. Can't speak for others but I like to check out the new recruits for myself as well as see how blokes coming back from injury are doing. You can also hear the boys interacting with each other and the coaches giving them encouragement or stick when they stuff up.
Two summers ago, I was off work with an injury and I would go to training every week. I live not far from Punt Road which helps. To finish each session they would do repeat sprints that seemed to go forever. It gave me a new appreciation for how hard they worked, sometimes in bloody hot conditions.
Next time I go though, I actually need 2 jumpers signed by Chris Newman!

Just wondering if there will be an open session the day after Super Bowl by any chance (Tuesday 4 February)? I'll be down from the sticks those two days and figured I'd check out training.
