I have been attempting to use AI to calculate the exact ages of the players on the field for each club.
I kept getting dodgy data where AI kept using the average age of each club's playing list to "estimate" the age.
I decided to make the AI calculate the exact ages of the players listed as playing in Round 0 (with the ages measured in days), then I forced it add up all the player ages to get a total for each squad.

There are 23 players in each squad so for example St Kilda's 205961 days divided by 23 = average age of 8955 days which can be divided by 365.25 to get years which gives us an average age of 24.5 years

We often get told how young or old a team is, but when you average it out there is only a year or two difference in average ages. It is difficult to compare squads this way. I have a few ideas on how to better display the age profile of a squad but I am lazy and don't want to do all the work myself. I was hoping AI would come to my rescue but it is lazier than I am and will readily revert to copying erroneous data rather than calculating the actual facts to present.

You don't need AI to calculate that you're never getting that time back!
