I dont think there were that many that forced our hands

Carlton vs Sydney: J.Smith, Serong, Gulden
Gold Coast vs Geelong: Petracca, Bruhn, Lombard
GWS vs Hawthorn: (none)
Western Bulldogs vs Brisbane: Budarick, Jaques
St Kilda vs Collingwood: Flanders, Houston (if the role is there)

I think those are the only 10 players that forced our hands during OR. There are cases to be made for others either as 1 week plays or ongoing keepers (eg Walsh, Daicos', Windhager etc..) but I dont think any of them will lose you too much ground by not starting them.

Yeah I am just ****ing around. Probably cut almost as many as I added.

Agreed. He’s one of the best taggers in the league. Must be part of his new contract and the negotiations

I just don’t think he’s damaging enough yet from the midfield/half back to not use as a tagger.

I think he did yeah. He’s definitely better that just being a tagger. And I think it showed the shift in role last night why he wasn’t used.

If he dishes up another average score though, a trade to whichever of Reid or Lalor pops in round 1 will be on the cards

This is my thinking, if any of the fwd mid pricers fail its an easy sideways/downgrade to anyone you miss.

Oh, Dawson then. Bont has more competition in the Doggies midfield and Dawson is younger. Bont at 30 is, in my opinion, unlikely to have another 110+ season.

Might be able to snag a few weeks in the backline now that Andrews is suspended. Then just cash him in for a 230k guy to use as your VC red dot for the rest of the year.

Has he been playing reserve games Draper - because you'd have to give him a few weeks of match conditioning after a year out. The game is faster than ever at the moment, give him a few weeks to build something close to match fitness.
