I don’t feel that great with Anderson in my team even with the good start. Maybe that’s because he scored 50 for me in his last game for me

Brayshaw (for example) has Geelong (A), Melb (H), Rich (H). They were 7th, 5th, 1st for fantasy points conceded to oppo last year.

I have him marginally outscoring Gulden in the first two games prior to Gulden's bye then putting 50 points on whatever rookie takes Gulden's spot for his bye in Round 3.

Brisbane and Hawthorn were 3rd and 4th stingiest in terms of conceding fantasy points last year. Doesn't scream home run scores for Gulden over the next fortnight. His price will increase, no doubt. I just don't think he gets away from you in terms of affordability.
Yep good points and could genuinely be a great move if Brayshaw outscores. My concern would be their shift in game style and drop off with points last year. But equally it could pay off and in this game you need to take a risk and go against the comp (POD / fading players) to get an edge.

For example I’m considering fading Sheezel, similarly to you fading Gulden. The rationale is I can get one more value player over a rookie. Could also backfire lol.

Probably depends how cmac, Greene, rowsten go this week, even Trac

If they do enough it makes it hard to pick him but if they falter I think I may have a place for him

11 CBA so it’s not a smash role but I’d imagine that’s different to last year still?

My concern is he really piled on the points in 2nd half when they dominated so his 36pt 1st half could be a flag of reality in tougher match ups

Worst case he will go up in price before his bye and an easy offload then if he doesn’t look like a top 6 contender. But if players already in my squad pass they eye test and get a solid score to ensure theyre also moving the right way (even if not as much) probably back in that pecking order
Yeah that’s true, could be a great short term play and give you a great edge if he backs it up.

I learnt my lesson starting Haynes last year who burnt me. Difference is McInerney already has put up the great score, though.

Also considering fading Parish. Not because I don’t think he’s a good pick, but if he scores poorly, should get a good leg up on the comp. There’s a chance he gets 50-60% CBA’s and goes 70-80 with 5-6 guys rolling through there now.

I’ve been tossing up between Errol and Anderson.
Tough to fade Errol now with his low BE and Eagles to come after his bye.

Also tough to start both with the same bye.

Trac is however currently sitting in my mids, depending on how he looks tonight, I could possibly find a way to get him up to Anderson.

What works for Brayshaw is that he's still got the highest market share at Freo. If Freo become more fantasy friendly, Brayshaw's scoring improves.

Yeah I think it may improve slightly, but realistically longmuor won’t change their brand that proved successful in the back end of last year. Not interested regardless of the draw.

That's a big if
Especially with no Round 0 game.

All we have to go off is how last year ended and how they scored v Adelaide in the practice match.

Bray didn’t go above 90 in the last 6 weeks of the year and then logged a 64 in the praccie.

Can’t pick a $million guy off that.

I’m been in the same boat

99% Errol, I’ll wait till after tonight 🤣

Trac will be good I don’t have him tho, not yet anyways

Interested to see if Wil Powell does play full time mid this game.

Could end up being in everyones teams if he goes well. Rowell out for a month plus easy first few games before the bye.

Powell Davies Graham are gonna rotate those defensive responsibilities

Bruhn is playing half back but pushing up a lot to almost be another mid at times.

They are kicking to him a lot off half back so I think its a good role so far

Looks like its wing and hes just pushing back into defence to be honest but its early.

EDIT: Seems like he is there now, maybe switching between both.
