Unfortunately it's not just about talent we need to retain players and the good ones
Both port and adelaide won their flags around SA talent not because they are better players but we retained the players because of it
It was a coincidence both teams had a heavy influence of SA players
It just happens the last two years their were some guns we could have got whether they were better or not but they were certainly comparable to what we picked up and at this early stage have proven better
Graham was an unusual one as he won the lark medal but certainly went on with it this year his GF was insane for a first year player at the big dance

History tells us had we focused on local talent in the last 10 years, we wouldnt have had to worry about losing the GF.

How does the crows team look if we drafted an SA kid instead?
Who we drafted and the next SA kid with a like for like. Smith and Milera are both from SA so the SA kid is a next like for like.

What we had 13 SA players and Port had 14 in their winning GF teams can only look at historical data and not make it up

Mate I just simply offering an alternative to the SA player we drafted.
Either offer a valid argument to my list by showing facts behind how we should have onlt drafted SA players without losing your mind or just drop it but as fas I'm concerned, you're just an Anti Crows supporters.

There wouldn't be a difference in standard at all would there? Some of the all time greats for both clubs. Roo, smart, hart, rehn, Goodwin, Tredrea, wanganeen, Burgoyne. Any locals come close to that recently? Have we passed on some local all Australians? Any Brownlow medalists?
Or are you trying to say we should go local and they will just magically become guns?

Not at all crouches are good pick ups if they stay Danger would have seen us better with Ebert in the team last year in the GF Lever well what can I say we had one good year out of him

Marty have you seen the current SA state of origin best 22 selected from all AFL players ? It's pretty disgusting
More of those players in our side instead of Talia Sloane Crouches etc and we wouldn't be playing finals let alone contending
If the SA talent is there well and good but if not then ...

You've changed your argument.
I'm critical of the last three years and it's pretty obvious the fact we could have had Burton graham and Hayward in the team instead of Doedee pohlkoke and Galluci we have made some errors
I don't care they got it right with the crouches they need to get it right every year for us to win a flag
Close enough isn't good enough you do realise we haven't won a flag in twenty years because you can't make mistakes
