Well fwiw we've had 8 wins and a draw in the last season and a half (so far) so 8 is what I'd expect (at least) next year.

Funnily enough if we were to somehow beat Adelaide today that would be 6.5 wins and technically exceed my original pass mark for the year by half a game despite it feeling like a huge failure still

Lets be honest ... we lost games because we lack composure and the mentality needed to win them.

Not because of talent or even coaching (tho that has a role I reckon) but because we are mentally still struggling. But the Richmond game was the first time since v Melbourne (r2) that we didn't show that mental weakness.

Having two really strong personalities in the footy department could work out spectacularly.

It also has the potential to go pretty pear shaped.

There’s a difference between healthy conflict to push people forward and unhealthy conflict that tears the delicate shit we actually have together apart.

Not saying we shouldn’t. It more it’s not without risk. We’ve also shown to be pretty risk averse.

Agree. But I still think we lack a bit more of class, athleticism and elite decision makers across each line compared to those top sides who have players like a Jordan Dawson or Gulden who consistently execute under pressure.
