Well That would be Great:rolleyes:

and Have McCarthy go home anyway:rolleyes:

You dont know that.. different environment and in the footy state.

Worst case we would have actually traded him and got more than the draft pick we gave up if not no loss on investment.

We turned Freeman and a 2nd round pick into Aish.

You don't know that. All we know is that the kid is suffering from some serious mental health issues and is desperate to stay in WA.

I don't know if he is playing restricted minutes but he doesn't appear to be in the action very often. Every now and then he pops up on a wing and gets a cheap kick. I would have preferred we got another couple of players in the draft but I guess Hine didn't rate it.

Who said they be better?

Aish is still not Fully Developed.

He spent 2yrs in Brisbane so we've got to re-educate him after 2yrs of 'development' in Brisbane. If he is still struggling at the end of next year then you'll know

I been a Aish Fan since before the 2013 Draft and I was Sad we too Schranberg over Him

We certainly got our two top 10 picks wrong in 2013

Nobody could have predicted what would have happened to either of the players.

Both look immensely talented, just injury prone. Scouting for injury proneness is extremely limited and in Scharenberg's case the issue was with his feet not with the luckless ACL's he has done.

Neither is the Club Fault. Just Shocking Luck with Injuries

We needed a half back (Shaz) and we needed some pace (Freeman). At the time they were the right picks, just really unlucky with injury. In 7yrs time Shaz might even become the best player from the draft, who knows, Hodge took a while but over a whole career he has probably just pipped Judd.

From what I remember we were after Bontempelli and Salem, both of them look to be really good players.
