How is Aish soft when he has played last 2 years against men in SANFL, winning 2 comps in the process.

So want this kid to slide to 6. Only possible issue is his slight frame but hopefully that will be fixed on an AFL list. Other than that, the kid has it all.

I hope he has a better disposal then he showed in the u18 champs games...

Lennon, Bomp, Sheed, Scharenberg, Freeman all look better with the ball and aren't built like a twig or completely outside.

He is extremely composed and will be a 200+ game player.

You seen his highlight clip he is very outside, Xavier ellis (minus ellis attack on the ball) in build and butchered it a lot for a supposed highlights reel.

Now his form at SANFL may have been much better so our recruiters will know best but off the champs games Aish isn't all he's been hyped to be.

He has the goods Loki, it's the size of his head that worries me.

The closer we get to draft day the more anxious I'm becoming.

I just hope aish is taken before pick 6 and we get our hands on ben lennon.

Aish is a soft one paced overrated dud who has showed nothing to impress me.

He is Bryce gibbs and jimmy toumpas all over and if we get him at 6 I probably wont buy a membership.

Don't get sucked into predictions and phantom drafts, he isn't that good despite being touted as #2 all year, Personally if we can land one of Lennon, Sheed, Freeman

Fair enough I trust Hine/Rendell to get it right anyway just giving my own queries over what I saw of him in the champs and his Highlight package.
Also do you know anything about this supposed rumour that he rates himself so highly that he made it clear once he does his 2 years he will seek to head home to SA?

I am hoping for 2 of Scharenberg (doubtful), Lennon, Bomp, Sheed, Freeman.

I'm in the same boat while I'd be happy enough to get Aish at 6 but I'd rather get Bontempelli, he just ticks so many boxes, and he also just seems a really good kid and has a very professional attitude to training, recovery etc

Aish, Lennon and Freeman for mine also UI.

Aish (6) is a gun that has received attention like no other and Lennon (10) is that perfect attacking HB/ HF that can deliver the ball accurately all over the ground. Freeman provides that break away pace in a mid we are lacking.

I give the rumor no credence.

The rumor mongers were always going to compare the acts of the father and more so his uncle who would not leave SA. If Aish Jnr shows half the loyalty he will be a Pie for life.

Aish reminds me of Steele. High footy IQ, and good skills, but just doesn't have the physique and athleticism to be particularly damaging at AFL level. IMO he will slide because he's a massive risk of not transferring his skills at AFL level due to that limitation.

And how is his style of play a need? He's not an inside mid, which we need, or a line breaker which we need. He seems like a pure link man. We already have that type with the likes of Pendles, Beams and Sidebottom. His type just isn't a good fit IMO.

I don't necessarily agree with the OP,because I don't know much about Aish at all.But looking at the videos of all the potential draftees,his highlights reel looked the least impressive of all the contenders.From what I saw I would much prefer Scharenberg and Bontempelli.They seem to have the x factor that Aish lacks.
