cheer louder then if they try and tell you off cheer louder still and then abuse them for being too bloody quiet

Remember that you can't offend them too much. One thing I've learnt from The Simpsons is that they always vote in record numbers. We'll soon all be confined to our homes, while they run rampant through AAMI Stadium.

'A' caps, cushions and 5AA radios everyone. The Pain :o

There are... and it drives me insane. Especially the Crows Cheer Squad itself, I've tried to get some noise going with some mates, but there only ends up being maybe half a dozen guys when you were hoping for a full dozen people getting off their arse to make themselves heard.

I hate people telling me to sit down at the footy, I hate people having a bitch about others getting behind their team a bit more enthusiastically than they are. The SANFL is sh*tloads more atmospheric than Crows games, really... no one tells you off for being loud!!!

But I'm going to be a part of this as much as I can, hopefully a revolution is on the horizon.

Crows cheer squad the worst in the AFL. Very quite and with a very small amount of colour (flags and banners). Even the banner the boys run thru at the start is tiny (seems most away teams even have a larger banner at AAMI these days) And having said that all our banner reads is Toyota ad's! I do understand they do put in alot of effort week in week out but lets be honest what is there average age? 50-60??

yes indeed there are many of lifes lessons learnt from the simpsons :thumbsu:

all i can say is that it must frustrate the hell out of you guys having to put up with this. In my years of attending Port games (every home game since 1999) that loud cheering lifts the team ALOT and im sure in some cases gets them over the line. Not only that but with myself being so passionate (just like you guys) i cant help myself... i cheer because i love my team and i get excited when we are playing well... and i cheer when we are behind because i am willing my team to play better

I have no problem if someone wants to just sit there and listen to the radio and not cheer....but to tell others not to do it is just not on in my opinion

We maybe should experiment with a move down to that end a couple of times, eh? *evil grin*
