In season is nuts IMO.

Games being considered:
R21 – Fremantle v Carlton
R22 – Gold Coast v Brisbane
R22 – Carlton v Western Bulldogs
R23 – St Kilda v North Melbourne
R23 – Carlton v Adelaide

Ben Brown leads the Coleman by 10 now but in a couple of rounds, who knows it might have tightened up and Buddy might only be a couple behind.
Brown and Norf rip St Kilda apart - he kicks 10 or 12 and wraps up the Coleman.
Kudos, recognition, Coleman betting all tainted.

Cant happen in season surely....
A blind person could see through this angle.

Clearly just bringing in the "interesting" rule changes to give a little more interest to a bunch of dead rubber matches to attract TV rating numbers from the knuckle draggers who will then go on to complain about the rule changes on social media/talk bak radio ergo leading to more conversations (attention) on the game.

Amateur.

Staggered that people have a problem with trialling rule changes in the dead rubber H&A games, yet endorse bringing them in next year with no trial. Robbo is doing so on SEN, and 80% of a Twitter poll by the AFL or HUN or something.

The only valid point they had on 360 is that it could effect the Coleman medal race- would keep the trials away from players in contention like Ben Brown

Why is it only those who want to change things allowed in this committee? Are we going to just keep changing things every time it doesn't suit some arbitrarily selected committee? I'm not saying the game is in the best shape ever but I like an organic game where things are allowed to change naturally. I really don't like the current administration and I can't stand the way this state of the game crap has played out with journos like Whately allowed to have their 2 cents while the every day punter is ignored and geriatrics like Blight telling anyone who disagrees to suck it up or bugger off. I think this will be the final straw for me and I'll be pocketing my $1k in memberships next year. Hopefully we can go out with a bang.
