Cmon dude. I hate Bumwood as much as anybody but they are 3rd on the ladder for Points For this season and only 55 points behind us in 2nd.
And they haven’t played the teams with least points against or haven’t scored against them.

Cats no1 points against - 45
Us no2 points against - 70
hawks no5 - 67
Gws no 8 - 79

Haven’t played Sydney, Port, Norf or WCE (and will get Port and WCE at the G) 3, 4, 6 and 7 respectively. So they’ve basically scored on the worst teams which says a bit about their scoring ability.

Worse they 9th for points against, considering who they’ve played in terms of scoring ability (all of the bottom 10 scoring teams) they’ve allowed a lot of scores.

Yes I agree they can only beat who is in front of them and confidence is a wonderful thing but they have yet to prove they are more than a mid table team.

“BRISBANE players are now convinced their best footy can match the competition's cream.

Following successive wins over Fremantle and Carlton, the Lions have the perfect chance to valida their form on Saturday when they play Hawthorn at its Launceston fortress.”

Lmao beating Fremantle and Carlton convinces them they can match the cream :tearsofjoy::tearsofjoy:

Bought a couple of t shirts in the Ho Chi Minh market, and the wise old lady grabbed me by the arm and said...chiếc bánh có nhiều vết thương
It means we still haven’t beaten anyone good

I looked at her, puzzled, and with my very limited understanding of Vietnamese replied “the bird has many wounds”??
“No no young man, the Magpie has many injuries”

Not really that compelling for me. Of course you're gonna score less against the better teams and more against the lesser ones. In our case:

Port 4th points against - 58 points
NM 6th points against - 82 points
WCE 7th points against - 83 points

We kick more against lesser sides....so do they. As you said you can only beat and score against who you play and they're 3rd where scoring is concerned.

Indirectly you're saying you reckon they've had a soft draw ? Fair enough.
