Was driving down the street some bloke crashed into back of my car , he gets out of the car comes to my window and says sorry mate I just found out Pies have got injuries and lost concentration .

BULLSHIT. It was a colliewobble supporter. They can't lose concentration, they've only got one neuron.
He was probably missing 2 feet and couldn't reach the brake with his stumps. Plus both his hands were in plaster casts. As well as being blind. All merely flesh wounds. But on going to a colliewobble open training at Royal Melbourne hospital, he was told to get in line behind the players. We waited 3 weeks for treatment and then left.

You were stiff. Not as stiff as him though

Not really that compelling for me. Of course you're gonna score less against the better teams and more against the lesser ones. In our case:

Port 4th points against - 58 points
NM 6th points against - 82 points
WCE 7th points against - 83 points

We kick more against lesser sides....so do they. As you said you can only beat and score against who you play and they're 3rd where scoring is concerned.

Indirectly you're saying you reckon they've had a soft draw ? Fair enough.
I was disagree with your comment about them playing the most attractive scoring type play after us. The point I was making was they haven't actually played the majority of the best defensive sides so their points for is most likely inflated compared to other teams.

They've played 4 games against the top 8 defensive sides.

WCE (who have scored 30 less points) have played 8 games against 7 of the top 8 defensive sides (can't play themselves)
Hawks (76 points behind) have played 7 games
Norf (85) have played 6 games
Port (116) have played 6 games
Cats (120) have played 7 games

So while they maybe 3rd that doesn't make them a great attacking/scoring team and I think their last month has shown that, the Essendon and Carlton games have both been dour defensive games. FWIW i think they finish top 4, they should win against Eagles and Port at the G, and Lions and Dockers should be wins. Us, Roos and Swans should be more difficult.

You’re kidding right?

Geez they lose the free kick count in 2 games and they go and whinge, Christ they should try being Richmond, Friday night was the first time we won the free kick count in what felt like forever.
I swear to God even when we win a free kick its when we already have the ball anyway. There were endless times against Crows when we were running away with it you would here a whistle than advantage taken.

I couldnt make out the second line though something about a better list.

Unpopular opinion on this board but they should have that right. Interstate teams don’t get a chance to play the G often, the least afl can do is get them permission to train on it.
Might have something to do with a game being played there the day before their game.

It won’t stop them from whinging about it though.

Ah didn’t realise Melbourne and Western Bulldogs were playing on the Saturday.

Man that sucks for West Coast, unfortunately it is what it is.

They do need to sort out some way for the interstate teams to get more experience on the G however, don’t know how they do it but they need to figure it out.

Listening to Nathan Joneson the couch was interesting. Thinks priority picks are great idea, would always apply for them. Also thinks trading a early pick for multiple picks is a good idea. Rekons Tyson and Salem are better than just Josh Kelly. No wonder they have been crap for so long.

New stat needed. Free kicks after deducting when advantage taken, and “out on full” frees.

Mate that's the thinking of a poor culture for me expecting charity for poor management.Dees got caught red handed to tanking yet the afl didn't strip them of draft picks only suspension of football people that's there double standards because they were on there knees already.

You know credit to our football department cause when Dimma first come we were a mess and alot of our picks when we were bottom 4 were pushed back cause of the expansion clubs ruling the draft.
