I thought pies played well last night , although only against Lions, they don't really have a weak link in the team there pretty even all over the ground , maybe the backline but they still seem to manage.

Yeah for mine right now they are probably just ahead but in saying that they looked pretty crap against the dogs, eagles and 2nd half vs cats, so yeah no real standout lol

No doubt, give them space and they’ll cut you to ribbons.
With the pies Ive noticed they have 3 players that are barometers for how they perform outside of their stars - you need to manage Mihocek, Crisp and one of Mayne/Phillips dependent on which role they play on the day. Stop these guys impacting and it goes a long way in stopping their run, all of them do a massive amount of line breaking gut running

The Jack darling free kick and 50m penalty is exactly what is wrong with our game. There was really nothing there. Bit of wrestling but I thought this was meant to be a man’s game. Then a 50 which is way too harsh of a penalty and just gifts goals to the opposition. Really hâte the over officiating this year

They won't be playing Brisbane all year, bears were putrid, they put everything into the first three games and are now cooked.

All these teams playing tip top football now will hit the wall at some stage and have a slump. We had ours last year at the wrong time, needed to have it 5-6 weeks earlier, we do that and we are back to back champs.

Watching port dismantle west coast tonight is a blueprint on how to play them. The eagles almost play a soccer style game with ball to the feet of he striker who then lays it off to the runners.
