I find that insulting to the star studded Geelong team of 2017. I think his coaching had a pretty big influence, it held them back.
Someone with an ego that big and the competitiveness of a twin brother at little athletics is gonna have a hard time creating a club with real culture and inspiring his players.

Cats fans sphincters already puckering about facing us again. Praying that they play Collingwood instead of us, and also hoping that we get knocked out by the Bulldogs.
On the other hand we just knocked off our closest threat in an epic game, and have our next closest threat next week.
Yeah we might be nervous about the Bulldogs too, but with the ladder the way it is we won't face the Bulldogs until deep into the finals.
It's last roll of the dice for the cats this year and they know it. They are also in poor form and have mental baggage.

West coke further excuses for losing (excluding the umps) is that the rain came and it helped us and we only started to dominate in the wet, well here's some facts eagles fans, it didn't rain until half time, that means we dominated your arses in the second quarter in dry conditions, if anything the rain saved you from Jack and lynch putting on a clinic in the second half as they were clunking everything in the second (when the umps didn't screw Jack over). We should've been a goal or 2 up at half time, we had 18 more i50s and 5 more scoring shots. Barrass was a shining light though, he was great.

Would bears want us or the eagles at the gabba?
I think we'll be playing the cats anyway.
If bears and hawks lose by around 40 each then eagles take 2nd spot so they definitely won't be rolling over against us.
We probably would prefer to have the eagles travel week one as well.
Mentally weak and it's why it's in the druggies best interest to beat the pies because playing the giants in week 1 will be the druggies only chance of a finals win.
But they are made of paper and will fold to the pies and then have to front up again to the pies in week 1 of the finals.
If this happens and it's Rich v Scats and Pies V Drugs in week 1, who gets friday night cause i think they will give the lions the thursday night. Could we be on the saturday night, i hope so.
Not sure we can expect any favours off the bombers. If they win Friday night they can't really overtake GWS since they have GC, so they'll be stuck with a final in Sydney. Lose and they'll finish 8th, taking on us or the pies week 1.
