The coach is an absolute dud, this player, that player… yet if they turn up on the night they are in a GF!
Not sure how you blame last nights putrid performance on a coach? They were gone within 2 minutes, just your old time genuine prelim stage fright choke.
At least ours was made easier being surrounded by 3 flags.

Rodney old mate , I’m a firm believer in fate , we deserved to finish where we did , as has every other card that’s fallen. The BEST 2 sides are remaining , PA and Cats have significant cracks in their line ups that aren’t what premiers are made of , a lot would have needed to go right , say for hawkins or Cameron to actually turn up for once in a clutch final ,,,and so on could say same for PA

Reading the game day thread on the Port board was hilarious especially if you take note of the times of the posts.

All day they were full of confidence and bravado. The mood and responses has a sudden change out of nowhere and drop off a cliff at 7.43pm. All of a sudden "*, *, *", "sack Hinkley" etc.

No other team of last years top 8 was gifted an easier 2021 fixture than Port, no other team besides Adelaide was less effected by Covid travel, Port had an injury free list, a 2 week break, 2 home finals, motivation for last year loss and they didn't make the GF, one of the greatest chokes in history, embarrassing.

One of the reasons Port fails so often I think is because their cultures more bravado then substance, they hate their Jumper, the cringe "Never tear us apart" karaoke before games and the ridiculous goal celebration theatrics after kicking every goal (Dixon was at it again last night when they were 10 goals down)

Theres a reason why only Vic teams have made both Covid GF's "Culture & History" not VicBias.

Both teams in hot form going into the GF, both teams probably the best throughout the year, even if the doggies faltered a bit... and with 2 weeks between the PF and GF, both teams should be fresh and ready for action come GF day... could be a ripper
