Essendon are hilarious...
They have all these people running the show (coach excepted) that believe that you must be a life-long Essendon person to get the best results for the club.
They're sadly mistaken and therein lies their problem.
They're too stubborn to see it any other way and long may that continue.
Can't wait until they smash the draft this year and get all the best kids, have their best off-season ever, head into 2023 final bound and have an unhinged commentator declare them top 4 certainties, just like this year, lol.
The cycle continues, it never gets old.

Come finals, he has a touch of the Fitzroy Lions about him.
Fitzroy won seven flags as the Maroons and one during WWII as the Gorillas, but as the Lions they were pussies during the finals, not that they made them too often.
