I have family and some very good friends who are Bullies supporters and I really would love them to see a flag.

Perhaps you could sneak it in before the Blues get back in the winners` circle?

Why would I bother reporting posts if they're posted from a moderator?

When they do pick up your trolls they simply delete your posts. Anyone else gets carded.

Quit acting like the persecuted JD. When he posts he is defending his team, when you post you are attacking his team. There is quite a difference. Somehow you act like you do nothing to attract the attention. That's quite the feat.

You seem to be drawn to just about any Carlton post on BF like a most to a navy blue light. A quick search of your posting history reveals a massive percentage of your posts (excluding the peculiar interest with the NFL) are in response or relation to a Carlton topic (regardless of board). I don't think it a stretch to state you post more on Carlton topics than St Kilda.

Your obviously pretty quick on your toes, quite the wordsmith, and can change tack on an issue like a veteran politician...but in plain, black and white easy to understand terminology can you state why you have such a deep seated interest in Carlton.

If I have an opinion on Carlton that doesn't sit with your distorted view of the world then I'm attacking Carlton?

The main board is for discussing all things AFL - including Carlton. Why on earth are you surprised after the past 7 years non-Carlton supporters would have a negative opinion of your club? Why on earth would you read/post there if you can't handle others opinions?

FWIW, defending your team shouldn't give you a licence to troll simply because you're a mod. It does, but that's Bigfooty.

Out of how many threads did I participate in that month?

At a guess I probably posted on 50-60 threads just on the main board in September. Rather low % for someone who only posts about Carlton.

Even more so when you consider some of those threads aren't on the main board.

If you really want to prove your point, total the number of threads I posted in total on Bigfooty for the month and how many are Carlton related and I think you'll find it's actually a pretty low %.

Maybe for balance you'll look at someone like Blues_man and how many St Kilda trolls he posted for the month. I'd be very surprised if he doesn't outnumber me 3 to 1.

No, as I expected, you are exaggerating and I've found another that's joining in the Carlton obsession with JeffDunne.


FWIW, I don't post much on St Kilda on Bigfooty because I post on Saintsational. Check there if you want to see how much I post about my own club.

The vast majority of St Kilda threads on BF (other than the St Kilda board) are trolls. Some of us are smart enough to not feed these and let them fall off the first page quickly.

Unlike some supporters I'm not that precious that I feel the need to defend my team every time some moron takes a shot. You guys should try it if you're sick of the trolling.

Remove the posts related to NFL (the vast majority) and let's see what the new percentage is. As a BF veteran Jeff you of all people should know that stats can be misleading.

And you didn't just post in those threads...you were as I alluded to earlier, a multiple poster.

The fact remains Jeff...if a Carlton thread should pop up anywhere on BF you appear in a flash to contribute your snide little comments.

Kramer, you're the one who started this. "The vast majority" of those threads aren't NFL threads (maybe posts but not theads). The "vast majority" were on the main board (at least half) or other AFL related boards (Draft, Bay 13, etc).

Please feel free to show how the majority % of my posts that are "Carlton" posts vs other posts and you might have a point.

Fact is, it won't show what you and others are claiming as fact.

All it will show is that Carlton supporters pay far more attention to what I say than anyone else.

It is rather flattering but it says more about them than it does me.

The problem is the same show has been showing around the clock in theatres for years. Everyone has seen it, everyone knows the plot line, everyone knows who the culprit is. They're closing in Tex, best you get out of town before sundown .... yeeehaaa!
