Well. That sucks that the Saints fell just short of a miraculous win. Onto the next.

I think we'd want a Bulldogs win in this one. It would eliminate any possibility of us heading to Perth for a final.

Give me Dogs at the G
Yes, I think that's my preferred outcome as well. I certainly don't want to be heading to Perth or Sydney and I think it'd be a great experience for our guys to play a final at the 'home of footy' in front of 70k+ fans in the stands. It'd also be an unreal experience for us Suns fans if our boys found a way to win that game... but let's just focus on getting there first!

So the preferred outcome would require the Dogs to win this one, the Lions to win tonight and us to beat Essendon on Wednesday. They are all expected results according to the bookies.

Been a tough couple weeks to be a Suns fan but gee imagine being a dogs supporter right now 😬 they are going to spare us some negative media this week.

So far they’ve crumbled under the heat. They’ll just have to wait until Wednesday to see if they make it now.

One of us goes through, one of us falls. We’ve messed up our last few chances ourselves. This is it. Time to see if we are made of anything.

Just one game to go that doesn't involve us. Assuming we win on Wednesday night then...

IF Brisbane win then we're likely to finish 7th and face Fremantle in Perth (unless the two margins are close, in which case we'd finish 8th and get the Giants in Sydney).

IF Hawthorn win then we'll finish 8th and face the Giants in Sydney.

There's also the very unlikely situation of a draw and that would mean we'd face Brisbane at the Gabba.

I just hope we make it at this stage. I'm prepared for whatever comes our way as long as we make it.

Who would we prefer to play? I would like to play hawthorn at the mcg honestly.

I think we match up much better then them when we're fully healthy and good experience at the MCG since that's where the Grand final will be.

I also think it's won of the away grounds Dimma would be very familiar with and know what strategy to play on it

I don't think it's possible for us to play the Hawks at the MCG.

It's either going to be GWS in Sydney or Freo in Perth, with the very small chance of it being the Lions at the Gabba should they play out a draw tonight.

Assuming we can't get the Brisbane game, I think I'd slightly preference GWS in Sydney. Neither scenario is great for us tbh.

Even though we don't have a great record against the giants I feel like we are a good shot down there. Freo over there sounds tough but they have been pretty average at times this year even against lower teams. I'm going to hope for giants though.

Id prefer Freo than GWS, at least we have an alright record against Freo. In saying that I believe we will be eliminated in the first match if we make it

I just think we don't match up with them at the moment. Every match up is going to be tough honestly but I guess there's only one way to learn to beat tough opponents away from home. I just think we would look better against the hawks

Lions lead by 5 points at HT. A small Brisbane win would increase our chances of playing GWS in Sydney if we take out Essendon on Wednesday. We'd have to not smash Essendon for that to be the case.
