Would like Kerr to just retire this year so we an give him a farewell game .

as much as itd be a benefit to him it could be catastrophic to us unless as i mentioned earlier we grab a swallow or coniglio.

kerrs hands are just too good. hes been under injury all year but with no pre season and such it can explain his lack of fitness.

By all accounts JD has a big tank, and he's clearly very quick, but more than just speed, he is explosive, and that's the speed that counts. I don't think our midfield is slow, i just think with the exception of Shuey and Kerr (not so much anymore as he's lost a step), and maybe Gaff our mids aren't explosive when they move away from stoppages. It's not like Selwood, Masten and Gaff are pedestrian, but they don't move out of the congestion like Shuey can.

This is why Darling should be given a run right at NN and Cox feet if he isn't getting a touch up forward. His fumbling is an issue, but it should be tried. He is a big explosive body. With NN in there, it makes 2 essentilly large and explosive mids to complement guys like Kerr, Shuey, Selwood, Gaff, Masto and Wellingham.

When NN is fitter, as mentioned previously he can also start center when Cox is rucking as another midfielder. He is incredibly clean with his hands in the middle and is great in the contested situation as an exractor.

Combo's of

- Cox (rucking) then NN, Darling, Gaff, Shuey, Selwood, Masten, Kerr, Priddis, Wellingham in the center
- NN (rucking), Darling, '' '' '' '' ''.

should be tried out i think.
