Just lovely to book-end the round with a couple of pointless losses on a season that we all wish were already over; and all thanks to the AFL's insecurity and the introduction the the stupid opening round - time to say **** you to AFL 2025.
Oh well, an interesting off-season and an interesting 2026 coming up, although I have a funny feeling I'm about to end up disappointed in the overall lack of change.
The Round that was
Would have been nice to show up for Zach's 250th, but when have we ever been good at winning for champions on Milestone games.
ESSENDON 1.4 2.6 5.6 8.8 (56)
CARLTON 3.4 7.6 11.8 13.12 (90)
I won't update this after the GC games - I'm as done with this season as the team as and already looking forward to my Essendon inspired, pre-booked holiday; a history of fallen empires.
Last time we met
Had it's moments but we gave up in the 4th - May had a fun purple patch.

Demons Deathriding Update
Another Win-Win here - Cwood might miss finals, though unlikely, but Melbourne won't jump Port if they lose.
Current Pick 5
And with that I'm out of here - Was happy to do it this year, and might be back one day, but I've done my ACL (Ability to Care Ligament) and will miss all of next season.
Also don't forgot to follow the women's team - If nothing else, at least you'll get hear the song again.. how do the lyrics go?
