Anyone know what durham foot injury is/was? Why risk it for one final drubbing.

Id like to see us lift for a final effort/backs against the wall but we are just too far off it quality wise and have a lot of players lacking confidence with no contract certainty.

Blakiston, shiel, prior, laverde, mcmahon, goldy, menzies, lual all looked bit like the weight of playing for there careers the last few weeks. Uncertainty cant help with potentially all 6-8 being delisted.

Probably hard to keep motivation up.

What is the most amount of players to play in the last round for a team and then not be there next year.

We will have at least 3/4 but could have 7/8 play against suns then be delisted or elsewhere next year.

Hope they approach as could be last afl game, soak it in, give there all and enjoy it.

Maybe lack of game time affecting his training numbers but gee I thought he was great when he came on last week.

So more development is what he needs?

And the only place to get that now is in this game because the VFL is done.

The fuss is that in a development year we are not giving a guy a chance to get another game under his belt.

Is it a major issue, no. But it is still a bad move not to play him.

We are talking about 1 game. 1 game. It really makes **** all difference when you have played in 9 games. Even if 3 involved sub. Yes he played sub last week but it may be a bad more to push him into the last game as well. I think it is worse that they did not throw Gerryn a bone. We know what we have to work with with Johnson.

Different role, for right or wrong.

The biggest thing Johnson needs a full pre-season under his belt, playing this game (or not) won't change that.

Disappointing thing for me is no Gerryn, just give him a debut Brad.
