Yes and IMO not enough credit is given to the group as a whole which gave no real explanation for the first rules.

the temporary winner would be the one one who marked the ball they would preen around for a couple of seconds like they'd won the premiership then
boot the ball back to the first group. Back and forth for and hour. Most of the kids were First nation extraction. The ball was made in China land but its the M.G rules in it?
